1. Giola Pool In Astris, Greece

Giola Natural Pool is present in Thassos Island in Greece, Giola which can be found at a small distance from the Aegean Sea. The distinction which makes this a natural swimming hole is a small rock wall that separates the sea from the pool. The only downside to this beautiful view is that one has to hike to reach this clear blue lagoon. 

2. Figure 8 Pool Near Sydney, Australia 

The figure 8 pool can be found in Australia, located in the Royal National Park, approximately an hour away from Sydney near Burning Palms Beach. Amongst the multiple Swimming holes that can be seen here, one of them happens to look like the number eight and the best time, as advised by the NSW National Parks is to visit when the tides are low to be safe.

3. Tinago Falls In Philippines

Tinago Falls is a 240 feet waterfall present on Mindanao Island in the Philippines which can be found in the southern part of the Island, falling over the Agus River. Under the waterfall where the turquoise blue water is, there is a cave in which people can stand and listen to the sounds of the thunderous water. 

4. Havasu Falls In Supai, Arizona, USA

Havasu Falls, being a renowned spot for cliff jumping is part of the Grand Canyon, to reach which, one has to hike for a long time in order to witness this beauty. The water here is crystal blue in colour and it is mandatory to make a reservation with Havasupai Reservation to be able to visit this secret pool.

5. Hamilton Pool Preserve - Dripping Springs, Texas, US

Hamilton Pool Preserve being one of the most popularly known natural swimming holes around the world, is also quite accessible as it is located just 23 miles away from Austin. The waterfall from the platform which was formed due to a roof collapsing from the underground river, creates a curtain like scenery, falling into the jade-green swimming hole. 

6. Kuang Si Falls In Luang Prabang, Laos

Kuang Si Falls In Luang Prabang, Laos is a multilayered natural swimming hole. Multiple natural swimming pools have been created due to the wide waterfall, resulting in the formation of these pools. Bridges and walkways crossing through the beautiful scenery are a main tourist attraction here as several parts of the pool can be accessed through these. 

7. Hinatuan Enchanted River In Surigao del Sur, Philippines

Hinatuan Enchanted River is one of the hidden swimming holes that can be found in Philipines and it flows into the Pacific Asian. This river is only approximately 80 feet deep and 24 metres long, and this pool earned its name as being ‘enchanted’ truly because no one knows where the salt water comes from. There are, however, multiple theories. Specifically, as reported by the daily mail, the popular theory is that there is a network of caves underground which resulted in the formation of this river. 

8. Emma Gorge Waterfall In Australia

Emma Gorge Waterfall is located in the Western part of Australia, specifically inside the El Questro Wilderness Park. To get to this waterfall, you have to walk for at least an hour, starting from the Emma Gorge Resort after which the 65-meter long waterfall can be seen. The water here is very clear and it is surrounded by red rocky cliffs. Emma Gorge waterfall is only open during the months of April till October and it closes before/after that for the wet season. 

9. Lower Falls In Ithaca, New York, US

The Lower Falls Pool and waterfall is located at Robert H. Treman State Park, in the US. This waterfall is closed during the winter season for visiting but has quite a crowd here during summers. You have to go through a slightly tricky trail in order to reach this amazing swimming hole.
